Week 4-tasks

Lecture: Someone tipped the boss that the lectures have not been that good. Worse luck, that the tutorials were to easy?
Not liking this so much. The net is playing up and I suck at finding things on both the net and via library. Here goes nothing.

Third week in

The lecture-if I can not say anything positive. ..The tutorials are helping me to survive the lectures. I'm sure that at some point it must be important that we appreciate how far technology has come. It could almost be interesting as well I'm assuming.
The task at hand today- my journey with technology in case that's any more interesting?
I mostly communicate with mates via text message and I am one of those bad asses that insists on texting while driving or wack the phone on speaker.
Other technologies-mmm I'm a lil limited. Since starting back at uni last semester I have gotten the internet on at home. And while I'm not the best at emailing I do do it a lil. I have a group of friends I met on a Contiki tour through europe. They live in Melbourne so the occasional email goes back and forth-some with photos.
But despite this crazy crazy age of technology the girl I e mail to/recieve from is a fan of the good old fashioned letter and has turned into a pen pal of sorts. Sorry to disappoint all you new age folk-the letter thang has not died out yet. Think it is great to get something in the mail that isn't a bill and we all know that most chrismas cards are a waste of time cos most people barely write two words in them.
I have reciently migrated onto this forum thang. Im mel james-the blog virgin. Well that kinda sums it all up really. Me and technology are only still getting to know each other.
How is this diggerent to writing to someone I know? Totally different. Givin that in this circumstance I could be sitting next to them at some point throughout the course and not even know is ........ Even so, it is different. Very different. Like reading a book and then seeing the movie a suppose. You form a picter of what you expect-different still from that because you wonder of your perception rings true.
Me and copmputers, funny story: You know when your learmning on computers and the teacher tells you just to explore, get a feel for it you cant break it-7. I crashed 7 at tafe in 1 day.
So I was not at all impressed with the new tec guy at the library this semester who was a total **** to me when i took my lap top to him with a question-I don't have the best of luck-try as I might. I am getting better. Now I even blog. Crazy days

Can I be honest? ...........Well that's kind of a bad habbit so this site will be all about that-an honest and perhaps somewhat painful overview of what I have witnessed, experienced, thought and or learnt through the duration of this ever so neccesary subject-NEW COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES.
Firstly though I'll warn you that the mere title of this course terrified me. I am not in any way shape or form comfortable with new communication tec. as a topic. Computers hate me so I'll be stoked if this works at all just quitely. My best friend in fact thinks it is hillarious that I am doing this subject. HA HA
That was your first injection of my honesty, the next one could hurt us both a lil more.
I really, totaly did not enjoy(was it supposed to be enjoyable) the short film viewed in today's lecture. To take that a lil further, it upset me. Had I not been concerned that it was pertenant to the course that I actively view it, I would have left.
Today, this course though is displaying marked improvement. Assuming that this is all going to be posted on what is now a self created blog, I have learned that yes, perhaps I can do it, that it is not that scarry and that assistance is readily available. I have had both awesome and yesterday a tragic experiance when seeking professional help with the computing side of my studies.
